Xylem husababisha maji na solutes, kutoka mizizi hadi majani katika mchakato unaojulikana kama transpiration.
Phloem husababisha glucose na asidi amino kutoka majani kote mmea, katika mchakato unaojulikana kama translocation.
Xylem na phloem hupangwa katika vikundi vinavyoitwa vifungo vya mishipa. Mpangilio huo ni tofauti kidogo katika mizizi kwa shina. Xylem hujumuisha seli zilizokufa, wakati phloem imeundwa na seli zilizo hai.

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
