In the popular Netflix Series "You," you may have witnessed what is called obsessive love, or obsession. “Obsessive love disorder” (OLD) refers to a condition where you become obsessed with one person you think you may be in love with. Obsession is unhealthy and can play tricks on you, leading to very bad outcomes.
