The Measurement Conundrum - Or, the problem with being able to measure everything!
Measurement technologies are getting increasingly sensitive -- but what does it mean for risk when we can measure the smallest amount of a substance in the stuff we eat, drink and breathe? Note: In talking about the hypothetical risk from the hypothetical substance Greensave, the video talks about the risk of cancer associated with exposure. Even though this is a made-up scenario (Greensave doesn't exist), this is technically the *excess risk above background* that would be associated with drinking water contaminated with Greensave.
