CCC Year in Review

This was not the year 2025 that we had ordered. 2025 was a good year for exploits, not a good year for freedom, and an outstanding year for bad ideas. Governments continued to fight for mass surveillance, of course with AI support™. Wars have been further "digitized", chat control has been sold as child protection, weapon systems now have more autonomy than most citizens, and artificial intelligence is finally solving all problems – especially those that no one has had before.
