Today more and more animals are ending up on our streets, where they reproduce and create even more homeless animals. Pets depend on humans for love, food, water, veterinary care, shelter, and safety. International Homeless Animals Day falls every third Saturday in August. The aim is to spread awareness about pet overpopulation.
