Eine Reaktion mit hoher Atomökonomie ist eine Reaktion, bei der alle Atome in den Reaktionsmitteln im gewünschten Endprodukt enthalten sind. Bei einer solchen Reaktion würde, wenn überhaupt, nur wenig Abfall entstehen.
Nach dem Massenerhaltungsgesetz werden bei einer Reaktion keine Atome erzeugt oder zerstört. Die Atome aus den Reaktionsstoffen werden einfach neu angeordnet, um Produkte zu bilden. Warum also nicht eine bestimmte Reaktion maximieren, so dass keine Atome als Nebenprodukte verschwendet werden?

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
